Friends, recently Google has made the decision to discontinue the free Wi-Fi service that was being provided at India’s railway stations. Currently, Google is offering free Wi-Fi services at more than 400 railway stations across the country. However, in the coming days, this free Wi-Fi service will be discontinued.

They believe that in recent years, internet data has become much cheaper, which has led to this decision. This service was being provided not only in India but also in countries like Nigeria, Thailand, and Indonesia. Google, in collaboration with the telecommunications company RailTel and Indian Railways, started offering free Google Wi-Fi service at Mumbai Central Station in 2016.

After Google’s discontinuation, RailTel will continue to provide this Google service. Earlier, Facebook also attempted to offer this service but failed, and the plan was shelved.
